By default, every new 365i WordPress hosting account is provisioned on our UK data centres, so your site files, MySQL database, daily backups, and email all stay on UK soil under UK GDPR. If your audience is based in the US or APAC, you can choose US or Singapore data centres at signup. The CDN is global and serves cached assets from the nearest edge, but the origin remains in the region you pick. 365i support runs 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Most replies come between early morning and late evening UK time. We are a UK-based team, so you get real people speaking British English (no outsourced helpdesk and no scripted bots), and we will jump on Zoom or AnyDesk to fix things together when it is faster than tickets. Separately, our data-centre infrastructure is monitored 24/7 by on-site technicians, so the platform itself never goes unwatched.

Yes. You can install any plugin or theme from the official WordPress repository, or upload premium plugins and themes purchased elsewhere. We only restrict a very small number of plugins that conflict with our server-level caching or security systems. WooCommerce, Elementor, Yoast SEO, and all other popular plugins work without issue.

A staging environment is a private copy of your live WordPress site where you can safely test changes, new plugins, theme updates, design changes, or code modifications, without affecting your visitors. When you're happy with the changes, you can push them live with one click. Staging is included on every WordPress hosting plan.

Yes. Every WordPress hosting plan includes a free SSL certificate that is automatically installed and renewed. Your site will load over HTTPS from day one with no manual configuration required. This is essential for SEO, visitor trust, and Google ranking. Wildcard SSL certificates are also available if you need to secure multiple subdomains.

We take automatic daily backups of your entire WordPress site, files, database, emails, and configuration. Backups are retained for up to 30 days and you can restore your full site or individual components with one click from your hosting dashboard. You don't need any backup plugins, it's all handled at the server level.

Both take automatic daily snapshots that you can roll back with a single click. Timeline Backup, included on the Premium plan, covers your website files and databases with 30-day retention. Timeline Backup Pro, included on the Business plan, does everything standard does and adds three things: your email mailboxes are backed up too, database retention is extended to 60 days, and you get mailbox restore options (you can restore a mailbox to a temporary address first and then sync it back). If you only need files and databases, standard is plenty. If you run email on your domain or want a longer database history to roll back to, Pro is the one to pick.

You can migrate from cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or DirectAdmin servers, or transfer any WordPress site via FTP/SFTP, just select your current provider, enter your login details, and the platform migrates everything automatically with zero data loss. Ticket #894321002 on 23 May 2026 is a typical edge case: a multilingual content creator moving from WordPress.com to self-hosted. Temporary forwarding was live within an hour of the ticket opening, working around the fact his .htaccess wasn't available yet (his WordPress package wasn't set up). When the first workaround didn't behave reliably in testing, we swapped to an .htaccess approach and warned him it would be overwritten when he completed setup.
