The plural in .bargains, and the typing problem
The plural is not a detail. Almost every deals extension is singular, people say "bargain" far more often than "bargains" in ordinary speech, and the result is predictable: a proportion of the traffic you tell about the address will type .bargain and land nowhere. These two are near enough interchangeable in meaning, and both are plurals run by the same registry group. Deals is the shorter word, the one used more in marketing copy, and slightly quicker to say. Bargains carries a stronger suggestion of price cutting and clearance, which is either the message or a problem depending on what you sell.
The tiebreaker is usually the name in front of the dot rather than the ending. Whichever one gives you a phrase that reads properly is the right choice, and if both are free the cheaper of the two on the day is a perfectly reasonable way to decide. Just do not buy both to defend the name unless the site is big enough to matter, because two renewals a year for one small deals page is money that could buy stock.
